Job Description:
An exciting, senior opportunity to join a dynamic and progressive privately owned property investment and asset management business. Over the last 20 years, the business has been an active and opportunistic investor in predominantly value-add, UK-wide commercial real estate on behalf of a diverse, syndicated investor client base. The company delivers a full investment management service across acquisitions, asset management, and property management.
This is a senior and pivotal role, working alongside the MD and the Chairman.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the property management team and oversee best-in-class service to the expansive tenant base.
- Lead the Asset Management team in the delivery of upper quartile investor returns through creative, strategically engineered initiatives.
- Oversight of all tenant applications for assignation, subletting, and alterations, acting as an escalation point where necessary.
- Oversight of all legal instructions to ensure that all disputes and AM opportunities are dealt with efficiently.
- Work with the investment team to ensure that all transaction activity includes an element of both asset and property management prior to deal completion.
- Provide the MD with monthly and quarterly reports on high-level metrics across the portfolio, which can then be delivered to investors.
The Person
- A senior property professional with at least 15 years of experience gained across both asset and property management of a diverse, high-yielding commercial portfolio.
- Proven experience leading and developing a team of professionals across asset management, property management, management accounting, finance, and legal.
- Exposure to UK real estate investment markets would be advantageous from an awareness perspective.
- An adaptable and creative individual, comfortable interacting at all levels of a company matrix.
- Accomplished communicator with excellent reporting skills.
- High levels of organizational discipline, with extensive past exposure to dealing with multiple business systems and processes across a fully diversified, internally dependent company.
This is a dynamic and exciting role with significant opportunity to make a positive mark within this ambitious business. Please contact me to register your interest.
