Head of Performance Marketing

Description

As Head of Performance Marketing, you will own and optimize the entire paid marketing strategy to accelerate customer acquisition and revenue growth. You will lead a high-performing team, managing multi-channel campaigns, optimizing CAC/LTV, and driving pipeline generation. This role is perfect for a results-oriented marketer with a deep understanding of demand generation, paid media, and performance analytics in the B2B SaaS space.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a scalable performance marketing strategy across PPC, paid social, SEO, display, retargeting, and other digital channels to drive customer acquisition.
  2. Optimize CAC, ROAS, and LTV through rigorous A/B testing, attribution modeling, and campaign performance analysis.
  3. Own and manage budgets and forecasting ensuring maximum ROI and efficiency.
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Growth and Product Marketing to align demand generation efforts with revenue goals.
  5. Implement marketing automation, lead scoring, and intent-based targeting to optimize the funnel.
  6. Oversee website CRO (conversion rate optimization) and landing page strategies to improve the volume of high quality leads.
  7. Use data and analytics to provide insights, optimize campaigns, and scale growth efficiently.
  8. Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing performance marketing team.
  9. Identify and leverage new growth opportunities, including emerging digital channels, automation, and AI-driven marketing technologies.
  10. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices in digital marketing.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  1. 5+ years of experience in performance marketing within a B2B SaaS or technology company.
  2. Deep expertise in Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, paid social, retargeting, and programmatic advertising.
  3. Strong knowledge of B2B demand generation, account-based marketing (ABM), and lead generation strategies.
  4. Hands-on experience with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics, marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot), and attribution models.
  5. Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, A/B testing, and conversion optimization.
  6. Experience managing budgets, scaling campaigns, and working cross-functionally with sales and product teams.
  7. Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and growing a team.
  8. A strategic thinker who is also hands-on, results-driven, and data-focused.
  9. Strong problem-solving abilities and a growth mindset.
