This is a full-time permanent role, while our preference is for this role to be Wellington or Auckland based, we are open to considering other locations across motu for the right applicant.
We are intent on building a sustainable and flexible workforce, who will enable us to deliver better outcomes for communities who have not historically received optimal care in Aotearoa, including whānau Māori, Pasifika populations, migrants as well as rural and rainbow communities. With several exciting pilot programmes underway, change is well and truly afoot here.
As a senior leader within our People and Culture team, you will support in the development and delivery of an O.D and L & D mahi which is both responsive to our current context and also lay the foundation to enable transformation, uplift capability and embed our leadership framework to meet our strategic goals – all on a not-for-profit budget.
With a small team of two senior practitioners and a coordinator, you will need to be comfortable getting stuck in to deliver mahi and utilise insights gained to communicate and influence at an executive level whilst collaborating effectively with the wider P&C team (communications, HR and Māori capability team).
You will be a pragmatic and astute leader with significant experience driving effective initiatives and programmes designed to equip kaimahi (staff) at all levels with the skills, mindset and pathways that craft a high performing culture. Prior experience working in a healthcare environment or working closely with a regulated workforce will support your transition, however, is not required.
