Role Overview:

As the Head of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Eventogy’s marketing strategy. This is a hands-on position, perfect for a creative thinker who excels in both strategy and execution. You will be responsible for driving growth through innovative marketing campaigns, developing the Eventogy brand as the trusted technology partner for corporate event professionals, and ensuring our values and vision are represented authentically in all marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute an innovative marketing strategy that aligns with Eventogy’s mission to empower the exchange of business ideas and knowledge globally.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and optimise multi-channel marketing campaigns (including digital, content, social, and experiential) to drive engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation.
  • Website Ownership: Take full ownership of the marketing site, treating it as a core member of the team. Monitor its performance, set KPIs, and ensure it generates the required volume of inbound leads through optimisation and content strategy.
  • Brand Development: Position Eventogy as a leader in the event technology industry through unique and creative brand initiatives that stand out in a competitive market.
  • Content Strategy: Create and oversee the development of engaging, authentic content that resonates with our target audience, ensuring our tone and messaging reflect our values of integrity, openness, and collaboration.
  • Innovation and Experimentation: Champion new and emerging marketing trends and technologies. Test and implement creative marketing initiatives that differentiate Eventogy from traditional industry players.
  • Performance Measurement: Use data-driven insights to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and the marketing site, making informed decisions to refine and optimise our marketing strategy.
  • Partnership Development: Build and maintain strategic partnerships that align with Eventogy’s vision and expand our reach within the corporate events industry.
  • Team Leadership: While currently an individual contributor role, you will be responsible for scaling and managing a marketing team as the company grows.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a Head of Marketing, Marketing Lead, or similar role in a technology or B2B environment.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing successful and innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and optimising a marketing site, with a focus on lead generation and performance tracking.
  • A creative thinker with the ability to challenge traditional approaches and develop unique solutions that align with company values.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, web analytics, and A/B testing.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of producing compelling content that aligns with our company’s values and vision.
  • Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyse and interpret marketing metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
