Metaview
Hiring is tedious, inefficient, and unreliable. The root cause of this is that the most important moments when hiring are fluid, synchronous, human interactions, but we only have highly-lossy and unsophisticated (ie, manual) ways of capturing the data that these interactions emit.
Metaview is building an AI-first platform to establish a new, richer ground-truth for hiring. We're using this ground-truth to radically enhance hiring workflows, data, and decisions.
As a result, we'll turn hiring into the business-critical team sport it truly is.
We're a Series A startup founded by Siadhal and Shahriar after their experiences building products and teams at Uber and Palantir, and backed by phenomenal investors in the US and Europe. Our starting point on this mission is an AI-powered conversation assistant that gives hiring teams superpowers: beautifully structured and summarized interview notes, pre-filled candidate feedback forms, and rich candidate write-ups generated in just a few clicks (if that). Our customers are raving fans of the product, and we're already seeing that Metaview is becoming the center-of-gravity for the hiring process at companies like Brex, Quora, HelloFresh, and over a thousand more.
The team
- We own our work from end-to-end. We work "towards goals", not "on tasks". We're a team that knows the satisfaction of doing great work is only felt when it impacts the customer.
- We optimize for rate-of-learning. We treat learning as the highest-form of currency for delivering future impact, and act accordingly: we run experiments, question thoroughly, and talk to customers over-and-over. We covet earned secrets.

The role
We're looking for a marketing leader to help further accelerate our rapid growth in the US, Europe, and beyond. This is a critical moment where startups are defining and winning new categories. You'll be an instrumental part of both.
We grow through a mix of bottoms-up PLG and traditional top-down sales-led go-to-market motions, so having experience of both of these is vital. Ultimately, this role is about creating high-quality pipeline for both motions faster than any normal human-being would think possible, with a deep empathy for how different personas like to experience and buy B2B software.
To make this happen, the Head of Marketing will:
- Own the number. Decide how much resource to put behind which channels/campaigns, and take responsibility for making them a success.
- Lead the efforts to take our highly-efficient inbound engine that powers our PLG motion to the next level, through a mix of organic and paid methods.
- Work out how marketing can be most impactful in helping us win enterprise pipeline, then build the playbooks around these learnings.
- Leave the market with no doubt that Metaview is the most innovative, most loved, and highest quality product in the category through orchestrating world-class product launches and other lightning strikes.
- Lead, and grow, a team of marketers at the top of their game and intent on making this a career-defining moment in their career.
Fundamentally, we have the best product in an emerging market that is still being shaped in people's minds. The Head of Marketing will be central in determining how we shape our customers' understanding of the market, and how we win the category.
You
- 10+ years experience in demand gen and/or product marketing. A significant portion of that in B2B, with exposure to a mix of product-led and sales-led growth. Startup experience is a big plus.
- You've seen how the best have done it, and now want your chance to lead a world-class operation in a market that is ripe for growth.
- You're operational. You can "do" as well as "lead". You enjoy the process of truth-seeking through building and learning, rapidly.
