As Head of Marketing, you’ll develop and execute a robust marketing strategy, set budgets, and build a team to support brand growth and trade marketing initiatives. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders—including Sales, Finance, brand partners, and retailers—to deliver exceptional marketing campaigns and strengthen their position as a go-to partner in the food and drink sector.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive everything from strategic planning to campaign execution.
What you will be doing:
- Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Craft and execute an overall marketing strategy that aligns with the business objectives.
- Build and manage a high-performing marketing team.
- Set KPIs and monitor performance, adjusting strategies to ensure optimal results.
- Manage marketing budgets, ensuring maximum ROI.
- Brand Marketing
- Enhance and manage brand presence, ensuring consistent messaging across platforms.
- Drive innovative campaigns across digital, social, and traditional marketing channels.
- Partner with suppliers and producers to co-create impactful brand initiatives.
- Trade/Retail Marketing
- Collaborate with retailers and wholesalers to design and execute joint marketing initiatives that boost in-store performance.
- Develop tailored marketing materials for trade partners, including POS tools and product presentations.
- Market Insights
- Conduct research to uncover market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive activity.
- Stay ahead of industry innovations and retail trends, keeping the marketing approach fresh and effective.

- Inspire, mentor, and develop your marketing team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
What we are looking for:
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in senior marketing roles, ideally working with multiple brands within food and/or drink and marketing into major supermarkets.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience in brand marketing and trade marketing, particularly within retail and wholesale.
- Strong knowledge of working with major supermarket chains and their promotional campaigns.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable strategies.
- Expertise in digital marketing, social media, and traditional marketing techniques.
- A hands-on approach and a willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed.
