Skillsearch is on the lookout for a Head of Marketing to join an innovative learning company that combines education with the power of play. This London-based hybrid role is perfect for someone passionate about revolutionising education through cutting-edge technology and game-based learning. As the Head of Marketing at Mrs Wordsmith, you’ll be in charge of expanding the brand’s reach, pushing boundaries in the educational space, and helping kids around the world unlock their potential through the magic of language.

Your Role

  • Strategic Marketing: Develop end-to-end marketing strategies that put the customer at the heart of everything, from test to launch and beyond.
  • Brand Strategy: Define and refine the brand to ensure consistency across all marketing, product experiences, and team culture.
  • Growth Hacking: Balance commercial viability with consumer desirability in go-to-market strategies, making tough decisions on budget allocation.
  • Channel and Content Strategy: Focus marketing efforts on the channels and content that will have the greatest impact, increasing reach and product sales.
  • Innovation: Use customer insights, feedback, and the latest technology to continually innovate and improve marketing strategies.

About You

  • Experience: Proven experience in marketing, particularly in the education, entertainment, gaming, or e-commerce sectors.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team of marketers to fulfil their creative potential.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to recognise and act on future trends, with a strong understanding of the consumer landscape.
  • Data Savvy: Balance art and science by translating data into insights to inform decisions.
  • Creative Excellence:An instinct for what fits the Mrs Wordsmith brand, with experience in managing creative agencies and campaigns.
