Job Description

Are you a Senior Marine Producer / Leader looking to be more involved in business strategy and be offered the opportunity to build out a North American focused portfolio and team on behalf of an already well-established Marine Lloyd's Broker?

Joining as Head of Marine (North America), you will be offered an attractive package which includes long-term incentives and/or equity.

Being honest, bold, independent, and genuinely different to what is already out there is the heart of this business. Already steeped in maritime history, this Broker has received some recent minority investment and is now looking to grow tenfold.

Today they are still a family-funded, independent business with an entrepreneurial mindset, and their ambitious growth plans are powered by investment capital that preserves their independence, culture, and core values.

You will have full autonomy for overseeing all functions within your business practice, including managing an effective team, developing products, and market relationships.

You will enjoy working both strategically and operationally, whilst leading from the front from a production point of view driving growth and profitability. You'll either have a varied wholesale marine background or have specialist knowledge in either Marine Hull and Machinery, Marine Cargo, Liability, P&I, or Fine Art and Specie.

You will not be starting from scratch and will be able to capitalize on this Broker's already well-established network, including their Specialty MGA already on the ground in the US.

If you have strong client connections, have a desire and thirst to build something genuinely different in the market, where you'll have all the investment/capital you'll need to be successful, this could be the ideal opportunity.

Even if you are currently operating within a large corporate wholesale broker dealing with 3rd party business, but you have the natural determination and entrepreneurial spirit to build something, we would still love to hear from you.
