Job Description
Provide expert legal advice to the organisation
Oversee corporate governance and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
Manage the company's secretarial duties
Lead and motivate a team of legal professionals
Implement legal strategies that align with the organisation's objectives
Manage the organisation's legal budget
Prepare and review legal documents and contracts
Liaise with external solicitors and regulators
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Legal & Company Secretary should have the following qualifications & experience:
A qualified solicitor in the UK or relevant jurisdiction.
Experience in a leadership role within the legal department of a not-for-profit and/or healthcare organisation
Excellent knowledge of corporate governance and compliance
Strong skills in legal analysis and drafting legal documents
