Head of Legal (Fashion Retailer, Manchester)

A leading fashion group is seeking a skilled Head of Legal to oversee its diverse range of brands. This role is ideal for a dynamic legal professional and requires advising on various legal and commercial issues, working directly with the General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Legal Oversight: Manage the Legal team and provide comprehensive advice on commercial contracts, data protection, employment, intellectual property, and more.
2. Strategic Contribution: Shape the Legal team’s strategy and support M&A activities.
3. Budget and External Relations: Oversee the legal budget and manage relationships with external advisors.
4. Leadership and Development: Lead and develop the Legal team, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Qualified Solicitor with 8+ years PQE and strong experience in commercial law.
2. Preferred experience in-house at an e-commerce, fashion, retail, or FMCG company.
3. A positive, proactive, solutions-focused attitude.
