Head of Legal

Location: Surrey or Cardiff – flexible/hybrid working

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a prominent financial services organisation as Head of Legal. The UK business offers a range of innovative financial products and services designed to support both individuals and businesses. This pivotal role reports directly to the Deputy CEO, overseeing a team and engaging with senior stakeholders across Europe.

You will be:

1. A qualified lawyer, admitted to practice in the UK.
2. Highly knowledgeable in applicable laws and regulations, including expertise in consumer credit laws.
3. Experienced in team management, with strong people leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships.
4. Willing and able to travel to Surrey or Cardiff as needed, with a frequency of at least once a week.
5. Prior in-house experience within financial services is advantageous but not essential.
