The Head of Lands Technical and Governance at National Grid is responsible for overseeing the strategic development, implementation, and governance of land-related policies, procedures, and technical standards.
This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, optimises land acquisition and management processes, and supports the efficient delivery of National Grid’s new infrastructure and existing infrastructure land teams. The position plays a critical role in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and the continuous improvement of land strategies to support the company’s operational goals.
The role involves representing National Grid at external forums and in discussions with key policy makers.

A competitive salary between £75,000 - £90,000 – dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a company car or allowance, a bonus of up to 20% of your salary for stretch performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
