About the School

This school is housed on a historic site with views of Windsor Castle. The school is rated "Good" by Ofsted. It is an independent specialist day school, with both primary and secondary settings providing high-quality education. The school caters to meet the needs of a diverse group of pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviours. The school has a capacity of up to 130 students, 90 of which are in the secondary provision. The school will include a full-size sports hall, MUGA, and specialist classrooms for science, food technology, DT, and computing. Class sizes are small with up to 8 children per class.

About the Role

This school is looking for a Head of IT to join their successful department. You will be required to teach IT but also to manage and lead the IT department. You should have at least 1 year of experience teaching IT, but the school will consider other candidates who might be suitable. A degree in IT / Computer Science is preferable as well as teaching qualifications in the subject. Prior experience as Head of department is preferable but not essential.
