Are you a seasoned HR leader with a proven track record bringing the function together across Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Learning and Organisational Development, enabling collaboration and continuous improvement? Looking for the opportunity to develop and deliver a new people strategy, working closely with the Associate Director for HR and the wider Executive Leadership team, to drive organisational effectiveness and cultural change? Do you have experience operating within complex public sector environments, building strong working relationships with senior stakeholders both internally and externally?

This Essex-based Local Authority is going through an exciting period of change and transformation. As part of the HR leadership team, reporting to the Assistant Director for HR & OD, and working alongside the Head of Payroll, Pensions, Data and Transactional Services, this role will play a pivotal part in the design and delivery of the council's new Corporate Strategy and People plan.
