Head of HR Operations

Location: Coventry UK

Salary: £75,000

Contract type: Full Time Permanent

Working hours: 40 Hours a Week

About the role

Are you an experienced HR leader looking for a role where you can make a strategic impact? We are seeking a Head of HR Operations to join our dynamic team, based in our UK head office in Coventry. This is a pivotal role, focusing on three core areas: Business Partnering, Operational Leadership, and HR Operations Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Business Partnering: Serve as a trusted advisor to six Executive Directors, providing guidance on talent management, workforce planning, diversity and inclusion, employee relations, and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Operational HR Leadership: Lead a team of three HR Business Partners, handling complex employee relations cases, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring fairness and equity across the organisation.
  • HR Operations Management: Oversee the HR Operations team, consisting of HR Administrators and Advisors, to ensure efficient processes, clear policies, and best-in-class HR practices.

  • Collaborate with the HR team to drive cultural change, foster a sense of belonging, and ensure compliance with HR standards.
  • Use data and analytics to inform HR strategies, enhance business performance, and support organisational design, including talent and succession planning, restructuring, and change management.

  • Requirements
  • Proven experience in an HR leadership role, ideally within a shared services environment, with a track record of managing HR operations and business partnering at a senior level.
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities, with experience in coaching and developing HR teams to achieve high performance.
  • Proficiency in using HR data and analytics to drive decision-making and improve business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in organisational design, talent and succession planning, and leading change management initiatives.
