Head of HR Services and Business Partnering

36 hours per week - Monday to Friday, based at Ware & Broxbourne Campuses

Salary: £52,000 per annum - Holiday Entitlement: 35 days plus bank and public holidays per annum

Hertford Regional College is recruiting for an experienced Head of HR Services and Business Partnering to lead and manage their HR team. About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of HR Services and Business Partnering to lead and manage our HR team. This role will ensure the effective delivery of HR services across the organisation while providing expert advice in key areas such as employee relations, talent acquisition, and workforce development. The Head of HR will also play a pivotal role in driving organisational change, fostering continuous improvement in people management practices, and overseeing HR systems, compliance, and reporting.

About You

We are seeking an experienced HR professional with a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent), and ideally, Chartered CIPD membership. You will bring strong experience in senior HR advisory roles, preferably within education or unionised environments, and have a proven ability to lead and develop HR teams, manage complex HR cases, and cultivate positive stakeholder relationships. Your expertise in employment law, HR best practices, and workforce data analysis will be essential in delivering effective HR solutions. Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills are key to thriving in this role.
