Ashley Kate HR & Finance are excited to be supporting our client in Warrington to recruit a Head of HR. You will oversee the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. You will play a key role in building a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workforce during a period of change. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with strong communication and people management skills, who can roll their sleeves up and manage the day-to-day function within a blue-collar environment, drive HR transformation, and foster a positive company culture.
Reporting into the CEO, you will have a team of 5 reporting into yourself, so management experience is crucial. You will be responsible for the strategic direction of the sites with the aim of improving people engagement across the business as they go through a period of growth and acquisition. You will develop effective working relationships with department managers, senior partners, and with the Trade Unions. Partnering with company leaders and HR professionals to lead growth, you will ensure the achievement of organisational goals and objectives. Some travel is required within the role.
