Head of Finance MRO Europe

Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, is now recruiting for a Head of Finance to join our MRO Europe business where you'll be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within our new MRO Europe facility. This role will be based at our newly created Ontic Tewkesbury site but travel between all of our Gloucestershire sites should be expected.

The Role:

This role involves strategic planning, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational performance and support business growth.

Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals, providing guidance for informed decision-making.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting, monitor performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.

Financial Reporting: Oversee accurate financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Cash Flow Management: Optimize cash flow, working capital, and liquidity while minimizing financial risks.

Cost Control & Analysis: Implement cost-saving measures, analyze expenditures, and support strategic financial decisions.

Team Leadership: Mentor and develop the finance team to enhance performance and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to align financial and operational objectives.

Risk Management: Identify financial risks, enforce strong controls, and ensure policy compliance.

About You:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA/ACCA preferred.
• 10+ years in finance, preferably in aerospace or MRO.
• Expertise in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Strong accounting knowledge and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Skilled in financial data analysis and strategic insights.
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
