An excellent opportunity for a Finance Manager/ Management Accountant has arisen to join a leading waste management and recycling company.

PACKAGE: £60,000 – £70,000 + Pension
LOCATION: Daventry, Rugby, Coventry, and surrounding areas.

THE COMPANY
Our client is a market leader in the waste management sector, renowned for innovation and excellence. They are seeking a talented Finance Manager to join their team.

THE ROLE
As Finance Manager, your primary responsibility will be producing management accounts, collaborating with operational teams to ensure precise forecasting and reporting. This pivotal role offers the chance to join a growing company and contribute as part of the senior management team, providing expert financial guidance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead the Finance department.
  2. Develop and maintain accurate financial reports and processes.
  3. Oversee payroll, credit control, pension compliance, cash flow, and record-keeping.
  4. Enhance financial systems and optimize cash flow.
  5. Manage month-end and year-end reporting procedures.
  6. Handle budgeting and financial planning.
  7. Oversee IT contract management.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Proven commercial and financial expertise, with experience supporting a senior management team.
  2. Background in a B2B service-led industry, ideally waste management.
  3. Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions is highly advantageous.
  4. CIMA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
  5. Strong proficiency in Sage, Xero, or similar accounting software.
