Head of Finance

My client is a Local Authority in the West London who are looking to appoint their Head of Finance on an Interim basis.

About the role:

Based in West London (Hybrid):

To lead and manage the Adults Social Care Finance Team within Corporate Finance, advising on relevant aspects of strategic finance and business partnering.

What's on offer:

• Contract type: Contract (37 hrs a week)
• Hours: 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• To support transformation and business led projects within the Adults Social Care Directorate.
• To provide financial leadership and strategic advice to directorates to enable them to develop robust financial plans and ensure that the future needs of the service are reflected in the Council's medium term financial forecast.
• Lead on the financial modelling of demand led budgets, within Adults and SEN transport to ensure robust forecasts are established.

About you:

• Fully qualified Accountant - CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA.
• Evidence of leading and managing change in a large multi-disciplined organisation.
