Head of Finance

Head of Finance | £70,000 - £75,000 | Worsley | Private Equity Backed Business | Short term Successor to the Divisional Finance Director

Axon Moore is recruiting a successor to a Divisional Finance Director in Worsley. This will be a short-term transition from 'Finance Manager' to 'Divisional Head of Finance' as the incumbent provides a handover within a 12-24 month period.

This is an exciting business to be part of. They're cash rich, heavily investing into teams, systems, people, leadership and culture; very much setting out their stall at the beginning of their new investment cycle as they aspire to become the best business to work for within their market. The new Finance Manager / Head of Finance will have the opportunity to establish themselves early on and with the support of a thorough handover before they're released to step up and lead the division from a financial perspective.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all financial and management accounts for the division across multiple geographic regions.
2. Help integrate a new ERP system and optimise it for commercial insight.
3. Work with private equity investors to understand reporting requirements and recruit a 'best in class' finance department.
4. Develop a wider suite of MI beyond month end, providing visibility into different risks and opportunities within the division.
5. Head up a range of transformation projects on the back of new investment.

Key requirements of this role:

1. Candidates must be qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA (Essential)
2. Distribution or Manufacturing experience (Essential)
3. Experience working in a large business background across several entities (Essential)
4. Experience of project work e.g ERP implementations (desirable)
