Head Of Finance

Reed Finance are delighted to be working with our client to appoint a Head of Finance.

Reporting directly to the Director, the Head of Finance will run the day-to-day operations for the finance function and team.

This is an opportunity for an existing Head of Finance, Financial Controller, or a Deputy Financial Controller looking to step up. You will drive performance and ensure deadlines are met.

Brief overview of key responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate month end reporting pack to board.
• Lead the finance team to meet all key objectives.
• Budgeting, Forecasting, Cashflow management.
• Work with the Director to oversee all commercial agreements such as insurances.
• Key contact for Banks, Insurers, and auditors.
• Year-end and statutory accounting.
• Prepare board pack and presentations.

Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified.
• Have held a Financial Controller or Finance Manager role for a minimum of 3 years.
• Strong team leadership skills.
• Strong systems skills.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• SME industry background advantageous.
• Comfortable in an on-site setting at least 4 days per week.

Financial Package:

• Base salary C£70,000 - £75,000 p/a.
• 25 days annual leave plus BH.
