Hours: Monday to Friday Office Hours

Basic Salary: £55,000.00 to £65,000.00 Per Annum DOE

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Finance to join a well-established commercial construction-based company with exciting projects coming to fruition.

Our client is a highly reputable group of companies who has a huge presence across the UK for over 40 years within their Market sector. Having gone from strength to strength and experiencing organic growth, they pride themselves in providing a range of services to both their private & public sector clients. Due to further and organic growth, they are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and experienced Head of Finance to lead their small Finance Team on a Full Time Permanent basis.

Head of Finance role:

• You will be responsible for the monthly preparation of management information.
• You will be responsible for the preparation and processing of payroll.
• You will consult with various stakeholders and be part of the senior leadership team.
• Attend meetings as and when required as a senior member of the business.
• Support the Administration Manager with ad hoc duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare ad hoc government departmental statistic returns.
• Liaise with external Accountants and auditors for annual accounts purposes.
• Aid managerial planning and commercial decision-making duties with appropriate financial information.
• Undertake training, annual evaluation and personal development.
• Ensure Health and Safety policy is always maintained and adhered to.
• Manage a small Finance team and support when necessary.

Head of Finance requirements:

• Previous experience as a Finance Manager or Assistant Finance Manager or any other Senior Finance related role is ESSENTIAL!
• You MUST have a degree level qualification or professional qualification within Finance or Accounts.
• Background within the Construction industry is highly desirable!
• Fantastic communication skills with an eye for detail.
• Effective communication and analytical skills.
