Head Of Finance

Cantello Tayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Head of Finance to join their client in Ditton Park.

This is an office-based role working Monday - Friday.

As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organisation and group of companies, ensuring their financial health.

This key leadership role requires strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and excellent management skills.

Key Responsibilities for the Head of Finance will include:

1. Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the company's goals and objectives.
2. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
3. Manage the financial planning and budgeting process.
4. Oversee financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
5. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws.
6. File the company accounts and VAT returns.
7. Ensure the company meets their monthly and yearly budgets.
8. Integrate financing systems.
9. Monitor cash flow, investments, and financial performance indicators.
10. Identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvement.
11. Collaborate with other departments to drive profitability and efficiency.
12. Ensure supplier contracts, invoices, and payments adhere to their terms.

The successful Head of Finance will have:

1. Proven experience as a Head of Finance or in a similar senior finance role.
2. CIMA qualification.
3. Strong knowledge of financial services, accounting principles, and financial management.
4. Demonstrated leadership abilities with the ability to manage a team effectively.
5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
6. Strategic thinking with the ability to develop long-term financial plans.
7. Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

The individual must show they include strategic financial guidance, risk management, cash flow optimisation, team leadership, and implementing accounting software for management reporting.
