This small construction business is part of a larger, privately owned group.

Your new role

Reporting to both the General Manager and the Group Finance Director, this role will lead a small finance team. You will act as both a business partner to the GM, supporting their ambitious growth plan and the financial steward for the business unit.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will be an ambitious, resilient, hands-on qualified accountant with significant experience in the construction sector. This would be an ideal stepping stone for someone currently in a Financial Controller role and seeking a step-up.

What you'll get in return

This is an office-based role, located near the NEC. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Group Finance Director and other business units. In addition to the base salary, there is a car or car allowance and a bonus scheme in addition to other benefits.
