Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Finance to join a rapidly growing, PE-backed technology company in Birmingham. This company is a market leader in its field, has an international customer base and future growth potential.

As Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving profitability, managing financial risks and contributing significantly to the company achieving its financial objectives.

The Head of Finance will have responsibility for all aspects of financial stewardship for the organisation, including overseeing all cash management activities, implementing best-in-class systems and processes, managing investments while ensuring timely account closures. This role encompasses broad accounting functions, financial strategy development, and external stakeholder management.

Reporting to the CFO, key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing leadership and guidance to the finance team.
  2. Managing costs and cash flow effectively.
  3. Overseeing the preparation of monthly management reports.
  4. Managing the forecasting and budgeting process.
  5. Establishing and maintaining relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and investors.

Skills and experience required:

  1. Strong leadership skills with experience managing a finance team.
  2. Excellent financial planning and forecasting abilities.
  3. Proficiency in financial management software, preferably ERP Systems like MS Dynamics.
  4. Impeccable analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.

What's on offer:

£90,000 - £110,000 + car allowance, bonus, pension
