This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Children Panel Solicitor (3+ PQE) to lead and develop a Family/Childcare department in Yorkshire.

You’ll have a blank canvas to build something special—establishing a team, growing a client base, and making a name for the firm in the region. The role will involve business development, networking, and running care proceedings cases while working within a well-established, supportive national team.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a solicitor with:

• Essential: 3+ PQE with Children Panel accreditation.
• Essential: A guardian following and experience handling care proceedings.
• Essential: Strong business development and networking skills to establish and grow the department.
• Essential: The ability to work independently, while also building and managing a team over time.
• Essential: A collaborative, proactive, and innovative approach—someone who thrives in a leadership role.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £60k–£75k.
• Bonus: 15% of anything billed over 3x salary.
