Summary

CCS | Compass Corporate Services have partnered with an ambitious Investor backed Specialist Education group in looking for a Head of Estates & Compliance, a critical role for their SMT. This is an excellent business who have celebrated over 10 years as 'outstanding' specialists in education and therapy.

Overview

In this exciting and newly created position within the business you will manage and oversee the maintenance, operations and compliance of 5 schools in and around London and other business infrastructure to ensure all facilities are functioning optimally, safely & securely.

You will be responsible for compliance & all relevant health and safety regulations with regards to all current and new premises and facilities. You will also support the CEO with estates development, including the development of new premises.

This is an exciting time to get into the business as they will be adding new schools annually of which you would play a vital role in this. They need someone strategic & commercially astute who can set up the property arm of the brand so that it can scale successfully with the business.

Essential Criteria

  1. Significant successful previous experience in facilities/property management
  2. Excellent understanding of HSE and safety regulations.
  3. Secure understanding of construction practices.
  4. Qualifications in Facilities Management/H&S
  5. At least basic understanding of pupils with SEMH needs and associated SEND.
