An idyllic independent prep school in Berkshire is seeking a Head of EAL. This is a part-time position from September 2025.

This independent prep school has a vibrant and warm atmosphere that resonates throughout. Every pupil is known to each member of staff, and they are taught and nurtured as individuals within a genuine family atmosphere. The school incorporates an inspiring range of opportunities, both within and outside the curriculum, for every child to get involved. Pupils are encouraged to grow in self-esteem, have a positive mindset, and be the best they can within numerous acres of fields, pitches, and woodland. The Head is looking for a dynamic and positive EAL teacher who has the ability and enthusiasm to bring excellent progress and enjoyment to their pupils' learning. The successful candidate will be well-organised and flexible, have a sense of humour, and must have experience of teaching EAL. A qualification within TEFL or EAL is highly desirable. The role will also involve an element of teaching SEN pupils.
