Key duties and responsibilitiesThe Post Holder WillAs
Head of DDaT Enablement, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing leadership of the
Digital, Data, and Technology (DDaT) Enablement Framework, ensuring that the organisation fully leverages digital, data, and technology to achieve its strategic goals. This framework will serve as the foundation for driving digital transformation, fostering innovation, and embedding digital capabilities across the organisation.
- Lead the development and implementation of the DDaT Enablement Framework, ensuring that it effectively supports the organisation's digital transformation and aligns with strategic objectives.
- Create and maintain a DDaT roadmap outlining future digital, data, and technology investments, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organisation and leverage emerging opportunities.
- Drive the delivery of digital, data, and technology projects within the DDaT Enablement Framework, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
- Partner with the People & Culture and Talent Development teams to assess digital skills gaps, design and implement training programmes, and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Lead efforts to upskill teams across the organisation, equipping them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviours to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
- Embed service design and user experience (UX) principles into digital transformation projects, ensuring that technology solutions are designed with the end-user in mind to improve operational effectiveness and drive impactful change.
- Promote agile methodologies and iterative delivery models across the organisation to enable continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring processes, tools, and technologies remain relevant and effective.
- Lead a team of DDaT specialists, ensuring the effective deployment of resources across projects, and providing support and escalation where necessary.
- Foster a collaborative working environment, ensuring the DDaT team works towards shared goals, contributing to the success of the DDaT Enablement Framework and overall organisational objectives.
- Track the performance and impact of DDaT initiatives using data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting regularly to the DDaT Strategy Group and making informed recommendations for improvement.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure that DDaT initiatives are adopted across the organisation, engaging with key stakeholders to foster a cultural shift towards digital-first thinking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and shared ownership of DDaT goals and objectives.
