We are seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record of driving successful technology delivery, high standards of quality assurance, continuous improvement of delivery methodologies, and budget management and oversight of circa £50m. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of the financial services industry and the role that Technology plays in delivering value to the organisation, a passion for innovation, and delivery excellence.
What you'll do
The Head of Delivery is a senior leadership role tasked with overseeing and governing the portfolio change roadmap and associated budget for the Group Business Platforms department. This role will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of delivery methodologies within Group Business Platforms and across the entire Global Technology Function, driving efficiency and effectiveness in delivery execution while fostering a culture of innovation. Additionally, the role encompasses the management of quality assurance processes to uphold high standards across all projects. Leading a direct team of approximately 10 professionals, including Programme and Project Managers, Quality Assurance Managers, and Quality Assurance Leads, the Head of Delivery will cultivate talent, facilitate collaboration, and ensure the successful delivery of high-impact technology initiatives across the organisation.
