Head of Data Centre Sales UK – Remote – £130,000 Basic + Double OTE

An established group of technology businesses operating across the UK and Offshore markets is seeking a highly experienced sales leader to establish and drive its new data centre co-location business unit.

This is an individual contributor role with a clear roadmap to building out a future sales function. The successful candidate will take ownership of winning new business, with the opportunity to transition into a player-manager role, leading a growing sales team as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead data centre co-location sales to C-level executives within both the public and private sectors.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, driving growth and retention.
  • Take a hands-on, individual contributor approach to sales while establishing the foundations for a future sales team.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.
  • Develop and implement processes to enhance customer service and operations.
  • Establish and manage partnerships within the UK data centre co-location market.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, results-driven professional with a proven track record in the UK data centre co-location sector. This role is suited to an individual who thrives in a hands-on sales environment, with the ambition to develop and lead a future sales team.

  • 10+ years’ experience in customer service and sales within the UK data centre co-location industry.
  • Experience selling Data Centre Capability & Co-location Services to MSPs & Large enterprises.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a history of delivering revenue growth.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently, while laying the groundwork for a scalable sales function.

£130,000 Basic Salary + Double OTE
