Head of Cyber Security

Overview

PURPOSE & IMPACT: This role is known for ... Responsible for shaping and executing the Nomad's security strategy in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with various departments to assess risks, create preventative measures, and ensure compliance across Nomad's infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives. Establishing and maintaining a programme to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement a strategic, long-term information security strategy and roadmap to ensure that information assets are adequately protected.
2. Lead the cyber / information security function across Nomad Foods to ensure consistent and high-quality information security management in support of the business goals.
3. Develop a security workforce that is diverse and inclusive, scalable as the organisation grows, and provides possibilities for career growth and advancement.
4. Manage varying staff resources and budget assigned to the Cyber Security Team.
5. Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and standards to enhance the security posture of the organization.
6. Oversee tools and platforms implementations to ensure a high degree of efficacy in both implementation and operation.
7. Maintain and mature Nomad Foods Cyber Security Risk Management, including Information Security Risk Register.
8. Define, measure and report security program KPI's that show program maturity and demonstrate performance standards and highlight improvement opportunities.
9. Present to Board and other key stakeholders.
10. Develop and maintain incident response plans, ensuring timely and effective responses to security breaches.
11. Manage records, documentation and reporting to demonstrate compliance and facilitate audits.
12. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate security considerations into developing new products and services.
13. Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies and regulatory changes, ensuring continuous improvement of the security function.
14. Assess Cyber Security incidents and ensure they are managed and resolved.
15. Work with relevant teams to identify Root Cause of Cyber Security Incidents and propose solutions.
16. Communicate with and report to stakeholders regarding Cyber Incidents.
17. Maintain and enhance Nomad Foods Cyber Security Services.
18. Ensure Nomad Foods Cyber Security policies are in line with industry standards.
19. Expand and improve Cyber Security Culture and Awareness within Nomad Foods.
20. Manage and oversee the effective deployment of security technologies and software.
21. Track security performance of vendors and service providers.

Qualifications

1. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information security or a related field.
2. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
3. 7-10+ years of experience in a senior security management role, with a demonstrable track record of developing and implementing security strategies and frameworks.
4. Experience in working in an international FMCG environment is desirable.
