What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and Innovate: Take ownership of the university's Cyber Security strategy, embrace a hands-on approach and make a real impact by championing the importance of digital security at the highest levels.
  • Collaborate and Influence: Partner with external service providers to bring in cutting-edge solutions while ensuring top-tier performance and service delivery.
  • Protect and Defend: Identify cybersecurity risks, mitigate vulnerabilities, and safeguard the university’s critical digital assets from emerging threats.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in leading the design and implementation of forward-thinking cyber security strategies and policies.
  • Expert technical skills across network security, system security, application security, and incident response.
  • A talent for managing key vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
