Location: Dorset (with travel as required)

Salary: £90,000 + Performance-Based Incentives

As Head of Construction Operations, you will take a hands-on leadership role supporting large-scale infrastructure projects. Working closely with other senior stakeholders, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, improving efficiencies, and ensuring seamless coordination between teams.

As Head of Construction Operations, your responsibilities will include:

• Company Values & Culture ~ Lead by example, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Operational Leadership ~ Oversee operations, ensuring projects run smoothly across multiple locations
• Team Management ~ Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, ensuring collaboration between internal departments and external stakeholders
• Process & Efficiency Improvements ~ Identify opportunities to optimise workflows, enhance productivity, and implement best practices
• Project Delivery ~ Support the timely delivery of infrastructure build projects
• Compliance & Safety ~ Uphold the highest health & safety standards while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
• Strategic Planning ~ Work closely with the leadership team to refine long-term operational strategies and support the company’s ambitious growth plans
• Financial Management ~ Collaborate with the CFO on budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation

As Head of Construction Operations, your skills, experience, and aptitude will include:

• Proven leadership experience in infrastructure, construction, utilities, or a similar sector
• Strong understanding of large-scale, multi-site project delivery in a challenging environment
• Experience managing and developing high-performing operational teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex operational challenges
• Ability to work at both a strategic and hands-on level, ensuring alignment between high-level business goals and on-the-ground execution
• A dynamic and engaging personality, brimming with ambition, drive, and energy
