Head of Civil/Structural Engineering – Lead, Innovate, and Inspire!

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus & Benefits

Location: Portsmouth or Monmouth (Hybrid/Flexible Working Available)

We are looking for a Head of Civil/Structural Engineering to join our thriving consultancy. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead major projects, provide strategic direction, and play a key role in shaping the future of our engineering division.

Although you can be based at either the Portsmouth or Monmouth office, please note there will be a requirement to travel to the Monmouth office a couple of times a week where the civil and structures team are largely based.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Lead and develop scheme designs using industry-leading software.
2. Manage and mentor a team of engineers, supporting their growth and success.
3. Oversee the delivery of large-scale Government & MOD projects, ensuring they meet time, budget, and quality expectations.
4. Conduct structural engineering analysis and design, working closely with CAD Technicians.
5. Attend project meetings and site visits.
