Job description

Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a head of care to work within our client's nursing home in Hayling Island. The client is looking for someone experienced and competent for the role to ensure the highest standards of care are met and that you are accurately and correctly following orders from the deputy manager and home manager.

  • £14.00 per hour.
  • Full time contract - 36 - 40 hours.
  • Day shift.
  • Mixture of long days and short days.
  • Mixture of office duties as well as floor work.
  • Wash and dress patients.
  • Serve meals and help to feed patients.
  • Help people to move around.
  • Make beds.
  • Make patients feel comfortable.
  • Monitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight.

Requirements:

  • Must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care as a minimum.
  • Must have at least 2 years' experience as a Senior Care Assistant.
  • Must be highly competent with medication cycle.
  • Must be happy to oversee a team of HCAs and Senior Care Assistants.
  • United Kingdom (required).
  • No Sponsorship offered.
