This is your chance to build scalable BI solutions, promote best practices, and foster a truly data-driven culture.

If you're passionate about turning data into actionable insights, love leading high-performing teams, and want to make a real impact, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading BI Strategy & Operations

  1. Own and develop our Business Intelligence Centre of Excellence, aligning it with our broader data strategy.
  2. Build a scalable, self-service BI model that empowers teams while maintaining solid governance.
  3. Ensure our reporting, dashboards, and data visualizations provide real value to stakeholders.
  4. Standardize BI tools and approaches so we work efficiently and consistently across teams.

Building & Growing an Incredible Team

  1. Lead and mentor a team of BI Managers, Senior BI Developers, and BI Developers.
  2. Foster a collaborative, innovative culture that encourages continuous improvement.
  3. Create clear career progression paths to attract and retain top BI talent.

Optimizing Our BI Platform & Analytics

  1. Oversee and improve our BI platforms, including Metabase, Retool, and Redshift.
  2. Work closely with Data Engineering and Data Warehousing teams to optimize data pipelines.
  3. Enable self-service analytics, equipping teams with the tools and training to explore data on their own.
  4. Develop standardized dashboards and reporting solutions that drive efficiency and insights.

Making a Business Impact

  1. Partner with teams across the company to define and meet reporting and analytics needs.
  2. Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, ensuring BI solutions support strategic initiatives and drive growth.
  3. Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that make a measurable difference.

Ensuring Data Governance & Quality

  1. Lead BI's data governance efforts, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance.
  2. Collaborate with Data Governance and Engineering teams to set standards for data integrity and accessibility.
  3. Track and report on BI adoption, usage, and impact to ensure we're delivering value.
Key requirements:
  1. 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Management, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  2. Deep expertise in BI tools like Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, or Sisense.
  3. Strong SQL, data modeling, dashboarding, and data visualization skills.
  4. Experience with low-code platforms like Retool to enhance automation and efficiency.
  5. A solid grasp of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data engineering best practices.
  6. A proven track record of leading and developing high-performing BI teams.
  7. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills-able to make data insights clear for everyone.
  8. Experience working in a multi-business-unit organization, embedding BI solutions across functions.
  9. Strong project management and prioritization skills, keeping everything aligned with business goals.

Why Join Us?
