Our client, a leading media company in London, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Broadcast Operations Support to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting challenge for a seasoned professional in the broadcast industry.

Role Overview

As the Head of Broadcast Operations Support, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Broadcast Operations Department. Working closely with the Director of Broadcast Operations, you will provide guidance, operational support, and clear communication across the business whilst managing a team of Operations Support Coordinators. This position is integral to driving productivity, leading organisational change, and acting as a key point of contact between senior management and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Serve as a Broadcast Operations subject matter expert
2. Drive effective communication and collaboration within the department
3. Support the Director in navigating challenges and decision-making processes
4. Contribute to commissioning and setting up productions and deployments
5. Manage budgets, track spending, and report progress
6. Lead and develop a team of broadcast operations support coordinators
7. Oversee department rotas and IT requirements

Requirements

1. Proven track record in managing and delivering projects on time and within budget
2. Experience in implementing new technologies in studio environments
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive cultural change
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Highly organised with the ability to perform well in fast-paced environments
6. Strong business and financial acumen
7. Knowledge of relevant industry policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements
