An established industry player is seeking a Head of Asset Management and Development to lead capital investment and development programmes. This role is pivotal in creating new homes and maintaining existing properties, ensuring high standards of service delivery. Head of Asset Management & Development

We manage just under 10,000 tenanted homes and around 1,000 leasehold homes, 5,000 garages and a small number of shared ownership properties. We also manage around 100 temporary accommodation units, supplemented by private sector leasing properties. We have ambitious plans for redevelopment, creating new homes and ensuring our homes are well maintained and energy efficient for our customers.
As the Head of Asset Management and Development, you will be responsible for the delivery of capital investment and development programmes, creating new homes, borough-wide cyclical maintenance and planned improvements, and a 24-hour responsive repairs service via an in-house DLO and supporting contractors, ensuring high standards of customer care across all areas of service delivery.
The successful candidate will play an active role in the leadership of Solihull Community Housing (SCH) through membership of the Executive Leadership Team, taking collective responsibility for the delivery of the SCH strategic vision and delivery plan.
We are seeking an individual who is driven by making a positive difference, with significant experience of all aspects of Asset Management and Development, who can demonstrate their ability to lead multi-disciplined teams to achieve a range of targets and positive outcomes for customers.
