You’ll help us make health happen by:This role is a hands-on position that involves close collaboration with the housekeeping and laundry team, under the supervision of the Head of Hospitality. Key responsibilities encompass team development, scheduling, stock management, and serving as the primary contact for residents and their families. The role carries the overarching responsibility for the cleanliness and aesthetic upkeep of the retirement village's interior, as well as ensuring a safe working environment. Proficiency in preparing show suites and rooms to a high standard is preferred.
A background in team management, familiarity with cleaning agents, proficiency in operating cleaning machinery, and experience in a care setting would be beneficial. You should be organized, self-driven, and capable of independent initiative. A meticulous attention to detail and a sense of pride in your work are essential. Excellent communication skills are required, along with a considerate nature and adaptability, especially when collaborating with the team.
