£18 OTE per hour (including Tronc)

45 Hours Per Week

We are recruiting for The Village Pub and seeking a Head Chef to work alongside our Group Chef to oversee and manage our small, close-knit brigade.


As the Head Chef you will need to be a real leader. Having experience in dealing with staff, kitchen management, and mentoring.


You will be confident with the overseeing of the kitchen, from maintaining supplier relationships, managing food costs, writing rotas and understanding health and safety regulations.


The kitchen team at The Village Pub are small but dynamic. You will play a vital role in encouraging team members to develop their skills and enroll in training programmes. We run an award-winning apprenticeship programme, as Head Chef you will take an active role in leading, teaching, and inspiring the apprentices.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous within a similar establishment is required.
