ROLE OVERVIEW

a passionate and forward-thinking chef with a proven track record in high-end
restaurants, boutique hotels, or bespoke catering, who thrives in a fast-paced,
dynamic environment. You will lead a
talented team, crafting innovative menus that showcase the latest culinary
trends and deliver extraordinary experiences that leave a lasting impression.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Menu
    Development: Create innovative, seasonal, and bespoke menus that reflect
    Absolute Taste’s commitment to excellence, incorporating current food trends,
    dietary requirements, and sustainability practices.
  • Event
    Planning & Collaboration: Partner with the Operations team and clients to
    meticulously plan and coordinate all event logistics, ensuring seamless
    communication, smooth execution, and exceeding client expectations.
  • Team
    Leadership: Provide strong leadership to large kitchen teams, fostering a
    collaborative environment, delegating effectively, and ensuring high
    performance during demanding events.
  • Rota
    & Resource Management: Develop and manage staff rotas, anticipate staffing
    needs, and monitor resource utilisation to optimise coverage and minimise
    wastage.
  • Quality
    Assurance: Uphold Absolute Taste’s high standards by rigorously reviewing all
    dishes, conducting kitchen inspections, and implementing quality control
    processes to ensure compliance with regulations and client expectations.
