About the Role:

As Head Chef, you will take the reins of a dynamic kitchen, leading a team to deliver exceptional meals in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in managing high volume, quality food production, and catering for large-scale contracts will be key to success in this role. You will have the opportunity to work with a well-established, highly respected company that prides itself on maintaining the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of a high-volume kitchen
• Create and execute innovative, seasonal menus that meet both budget and customer expectations
• Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Maintain stock levels, manage food costs, and ensure waste is kept to a minimum
• Handle client communication and ensure satisfaction with every service
• Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs, promoting a positive team culture

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or in a similar leadership role within a high-turnover, contract catering environment
• Strong management skills with a focus on team development and staff morale
• Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Ability to manage large teams and work well under pressure
• A passion for creating exceptional food experiences, with an eye for quality and presentation
• A solid understanding of cost control and food waste management
• Must hold a Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
