Paramount Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Head Chef, to join our client, in the heart of Exeter.

Working within a hugely popular and incredibly busy, fast paced kitchen, the successful head chef will be the cornerstone of continuing its incredible reputation. Due to the nature of the fast paced environment and the style of food, someone with incredible organisational skills and communication skills would be preferred.

Working with the Directors, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day successful operation of the kitchen, whilst delivering outstanding cuisine, showcasing fresh and locally sourced ingredients, to a high number of guests. As a well known reputation for modern food trends, a Head Chef from a previous gastro pub/restaurant background would suit the role.

Head Chef responsibilities to include;

• Lead and inspire a team of talented chefs.
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations.
• Develop and execute innovative menus that reflect the restaurants gastro approach.
• Liaise and work closely with management, to achieve restaurant goals.
• Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including stock control, ordering and cost management.
