A family-owned small luxury hotel collection in the Cotswolds is seeking an experienced Head Chef who is passionate about the finest standards required to work in a unique 5 Star private house hotel.

Responsibilities

1. Create bespoke menus from fine dining to comfort food as per the guests requirements
2. Motivate all members of the kitchen team to work to the best of their ability
3. Work in collaboration with front of house colleagues to ensure harmony
4. Control the food costs, ordering and menu planning
5. Ensure receipt of goods and issue of items whilst quality checking
6. Train and develop staff to achieve high standards of quality food production
7. Teaching new skills, emphasising the importance of presentation and trying new dishes
8. Essential hygiene with the cooking and storage of food and cleanliness of the kitchen
9. Lead by example in observing the rules concerning personal hygiene and appearance
10. Undertake staff briefings with all team members at the start of their working day
11. Ensure front of house staff are briefed on allergen and dietary information

Requirements

1. A minimum of 2 years experience in a fine dining role
2. Own transport due to rural location if not living in
3. Hard working and self-motivated
4. Excellent time management and organisational skills
