Job description

Base salary from £29k with monthly bonus based on revenue (OTE £32.5k) but for the right person with the right experience the base salary could be increased. Opportunity to gain SCA accreditations paid for by us.

Job Overview

We’re looking for an effective and passionate barista to lead in one of our shops in south-east London. This person should create a positive vibe in the shop for both customers and staff, resulting in a harmonious, efficient, and profitable operation. If you’re a confident barista under pressure when the morning rush hits, have a genuine passion for specialty coffee, and an entrepreneurial edge, we think you’d enjoy this role.

Working Hours

Week day shifts are site dependent but either 6.30am - 2.30pm or 7.30am - 3.30pm and weekend 7.30am - 3.30 or 4.30pm. We’re open 7 days a week and if you’re happy to work both days at the weekend, great, but one weekend day is the minimum required. Availability to start around end of April/first week of May is ideal.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure appropriate stock levels of our core set of suppliers/goods.
  2. Maintain a consistent coffee menu across all our sites (no syrups).
  3. Keep on top of cleanliness and equipment maintenance checklists.
  4. Manage the monthly rota and support staff in improving their barista skills and coffee knowledge.
  5. Develop strategies to affect your revenue-based bonus.
