Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Band 2 Healthcare Assistants who are looking to develop their career and take the next step towards a Band 3 position. This role is ideal for individuals eager to expand their clinical skills and knowledge through a 1-Day Intensive Upskilling Course, designed to accelerate your professional development.

This course will provide you with the necessary training, competencies, and experience to advance your career to Band 3, where you will take on additional responsibilities and enhance your ability to provide high-quality care for patients.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care.
• Minimum of 6 months acute healthcare experience obtained in the UK.
• Evidence of full immunity to Hepatitis B, MMR, Tuberculosis & Varicella.
• Right to work in Northern Ireland without restriction. We cannot offer sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Aid patient’s mobility, ensuring they feel safe and confident.
• Monitor and document patients' health signs.
• Be a friendly presence, offering emotional support.
