Job description

A UK-based global luxury brand dedicated to creating and manufacturing the world’s greatest driving cars is currently looking to hire a Harness Inspector. The successful candidate will ensure that all products leaving the production department match the specification and complete relevant documentation.

The Harness Inspector will:

  • Inspect all components and all stages of the manufacturing process as required.
  • Alert the Quality Assurance department of ongoing problems and deliver resolutions.
  • Ensure Environmental Health & Safety policy is always adhered to.
  • Support and participate in process improvement activities.
  • Ensure that the product meets customer requirements (both internal and external) at each stage of its manufacturing process, carrying out relevant testing and where necessary take corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues.
  • Report quality issues data, ensuring the Quality Management System is adhered to at all stages.

The Harness Inspector will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in harness manufacture.
  • Familiarity with Motorsport System 25 specification/standard.
  • Proven experience in end of line inspection.
  • Familiarity with Cirris cable and harness tester.
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office and applications (i.e. MS Excel, MS Power Point, SharePoint Online).
  • Ability to multitask based on customer scheduled delivery priorities.
  • Excellent problem definition and analytical skills.
