Hard Services Manager needed in West London Paying £23.20 per hr Ref 5265385

Full time on a temporary basis

We are seeking a dedicated Hard Services Manager to oversee and monitor the operational elements of Hard Services contracts, ensuring full compliance with contract requirements and delivering effective, efficient, and cost-effective services. The ideal candidate will act as the technical point of contact for Service Providers, resolve escalated issues, and provide technical advice to ensure corrective actions are taken. This role involves supporting the planning, delivery, and coordination of reactive technical maintenance for buildings, contributing to the development and implementation of effective property management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and monitor the operational elements of Hard Services contracts to ensure full compliance with contract requirements and effective, efficient, and cost-effective service delivery.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for Service Providers to resolve escalated issues and complaints, provide technical advice, and ensure Service Providers take corrective actions.
  • Support the planning, delivery, and coordination of reactive technical maintenance for buildings, contributing to the development and implementation of effective property management strategies.
  • Ensure services are delivered safely through monitoring, reviewing competencies, and implementing safe work processes to maintain a safe working environment and comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of buildings and processes to identify and rectify issues with service delivery by Service Providers.
  • Provide regular service reporting to relevant stakeholders to keep them informed about service performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure policy compliance and effectively implement governance.
  • Develop and implement contractor performance and procurement strategies to enhance supplier performance and deliver effective procurement processes.
  • Oversee and monitor Service Providers to ensure effective service delivery, delivering high-quality services that meet contractual requirements and provide value for money.
  • Provide strong technical leadership to ensure successful delivery of operations and support the development and implementation of the facilities strategy.
  • Develop policies and procedures for Operational Property and Facilities Management to ensure compliance with relevant requirements for Hard FM services.
  • Review and monitor asset register, maintenance programmes, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS).
